On the occasion of the press conference for the exhibition Between Spheres, MNB Arts and Culture made several announcements. The event’s roundtable discussion was moderated by Csaba Azurák, where journalists had the opportunity to ask questions of Kinga Hamvai, Head of MNB Arts and Culture, Krisztina Sikota, Deputy Director General of Tourism and Culture of the Várkapitányság, and Dr. Flóra Mészáros, the curator of the exhibition.
During the press conference, it was announced that MNB Arts and Culture and Várkapitányság have entered into a one-year collaboration, under which the exhibitions of the art division will be hosted at Várkert Bazár – YBL6 Művészeti Tér. The first event of the new exhibition series is Between Spheres. Art and Science – A Selection from the Collection of the Central Bank of Hungary, which will be open to visitors until the 31th of August (extended) and will be accompanied by a range of exciting programmes throughout its duration.
As part of the programme series, from the 15th of February applications for curatorial proposals will be accepted for the upcoming exhibitions of the year. The call is open to everyone, including experienced curators, emerging professionals, university lecturers and students, as well as curatorial collectives.
