On 16th of September the MNB Buda Centre and on 17the of September the MNB Supervision Centre offered guided tours of the contemporary art collection realized by the Central Bank of Hungary, which given by Zita Varga, cultural heritage expert and museum educator.<\/p><p>The event was well received, hence the visitors gained insight into the structure of the diverse and intergenerational collection, and were able to get to know the most prominent artist and young talents of the collection. The theme of the two-day long event this year was \u2018Our Living Heritage\u2019, and it was perfectly matched by the art collection. The core of the collection consists of paintings by artists who began experimenting with abstract tendencies in the 1960s and 1970s. Their inspiration in the field is exemplary and still today carries its legacy, thus becoming eternal for the young artists and art lovers equally.<\/p><p>In the MNB Centre in Buda, visitors could see works by Zs\u00f3fi Barab\u00e1s, P\u00e9ter Somody, Kamill Major and D\u00e1vid Szentgr\u00f3ti, while in the MNB Supervision Centre and Hungarian Money Museum and Visitor Center, visitors could see works by Tam\u00e1s Konok, Judit Horv\u00e1th L\u00f3czi, Imre Bak and Vera Moln\u00e1r, among others.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two buildings of the Central Bank of Hungary were opened to the public as part of the European Heritage Days.<\/p>","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":6405,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[482],"tags":[483],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v23.1 (Yoast SEO v23.1) -
